My house is infested – with Legos. If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time, you know who lets them in. Once they’re inside, they reproduce and hide everywhere. For instance, check out this lil’ baby on the top book shelf in my living room. Its not the only piece in the room, though.
Also on my book shelf (but on a lower level) we have this masterpiece. Lots and lots of Legos left laying around by everyone’s favorite Yooper (well, he’s my favorite Yooper). This love of Legos has inspired us. Starting next month, Yooper Stewart will present a monthly Lego-featured post.
That’s right – you get to hear from the master himself. We haven’t figured out a title yet, but we will. The format will vary. Some months you’ll get video features. Other months I’ll take some photos and write a few things. I may even interview the man behind the toys. The only certainty – there will be Legos.
When asked about the concept, Yooper Stewart replied, “Legos aren’t just for kids, they’re for adults, too. I’d like to share my enjoyment of Legos with others. I think they’re as much of an artistic medium as clay or painting.” And they come with miniature Star Wars figures – what’s not to love about that?
I hope to bring the first official Lego post to you by April 31st. In the meantime, feel free to submit your questions or comments. YS will respond in a timely fashion.
